The Reflektor series consists of series of site specific bacteria work. Dependent on the environment and context a carrier substance and initial shape of the workpiece is developed. During the process of growth and proliferation the normally not seen live of the micro-scale in the air gets expressed and develops visible micro-urban structures on the surface of the carrier substance. With Reflektor I a sphere made out of agar-agar was hung for about one hour of time in the air of the garden at the Kunstverein Haus am Lützowplatz in Berlin. The non visable world of microorganisms present in the garden became perceivable in form of clusters, crystals and coulor fields on the surface of the sphere.
